1. Why can't I open an uploaded file or see its contents?
Check whether the file is encrypted. For a text-based STP or STEP file, opening it in a text editor can help identify unreadable contents, but unreadable text alone does not prove encryption.
2. Why won't a 2D drawing open?
Possible causes include insufficient memory, unsupported third-party CAD extensions, or a converted file that is too large for the browser to load.
3. Why are layout names missing or incorrect in a 2D drawing?
Model-space naming is fixed in the viewer. Layout names are read from the source file; missing names default to Layout. Names created by unsupported third-party extensions may not be read correctly.
4. Why does my file look different in 3D Overview and the original CAD software?
Contact support and describe what looks different.
Include the CAD application used to create the file and an example of how the file should appear.
